My Massage
Techniques
When I massage, I am continually keeping the body, mind, and spirit of
my client in mind. My style combines techniques I learned through
training, changing from client to client, and session to session
depending on what the client's needs are.
My Professional Training includes:
Swedish Therapeutic Massage/Integrative Massage Deep Tissue Massage/Trigger Point Therapy Zen
Shiatsu/Energywork Posture Analysis Muscle Energy Techniques Reflexology
No matter which massage you prefer is it always better if you
focus on breathing deeper breaths during the massage and
focus on any sensations happening within your body.
Our
nervous system has 2 distinct branches - one which tells us to rest and relax and one that tells us to fight or
flee.
In our hustle and bustle world, always moving so fast, multitasking, etc.
we are operating in our fight or flight mode more and more.
Massage can help slow you down, settle the fight or flight mechanisms,
resulting in a healthier nervous system.

Modalities
Swedish Massage:
A form of therapeutic massage that utilizes a variety of strokes to
stimulate all the systems of the body including the muscular,
nervous, circulatory, digestive, lymphatic, skeletal, and
respiratory systems. This form of bodywork typically uses some form
of oil or lotion to apply gliding, kneading, compression,
percussion, and friction stokes directly on the skin. By varying the
speed of application of techniques this modality can be used to
either relax or stimulate the client.
Integrative Massage:
The intention of this modality is to help the client connect with
body, mind and spirit. Techniques include very flowing long stokes,
three-dimensional work, rocking, and passive movement of limbs.
These techniques are incorporated with visualizations and breathwork
all intended to bring more awareness to the recipient’s body and
experience.
-
I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.
Any illicit or sexually suggestive remarks or advances by clients will result
in the IMMEDIATE termination of the massage. The cost of the scheduled
appointment will still be due in full.
