Canine Massage
Touch is important for dogs, especially in their later years.
Therapeutic touch helps slow joint deterioration, blood pressure and
anxiety.
As a dog finds it harder to play fetch, the owner needs to take them
swimming and/or plan an hour of massage. At the very least petting,
scratching, and brushing as much as possible is important to your
pets overall health.
K9 massages can be done on the massage table or the floor and I
always bring a treat for the end.
Fees:
$20 for up to 1/2 hour
$35 for 1/2 to 1 hour.
The guardian schedules the time, but the K9 client determines the
length of the massage.
For the human:
$20 for a simple 15 minute training in animal techniques, so you can
give your dog the best final years of her life.
Information needed:
The owner should let me know about any injuries, surgeries and
illnesses as well as sensitive areas like ears, feet, etc.
