  Therapeutic Massage Services

Workplace Massage

Along with the many benefits of receiving a massage,  workplace
massages can increase productivity, especially during the afternoon
when most people consume sodas, chocolate or coffee for their pick-me- up.  A 10 to 20 minute break for a chair massage would be better for your overall health. Click here for more information

House Calls

For the client's and my comfort, the first time I visit a home I will only
do chair massage.  After that you can schedule either table or chair
massages for your home.

Canine Massage

Touch is important for dogs, especially in their later years.
Therapeutic touch helps slow joint deterioration, blood pressure and
anxiety. Click here for more information

Massage for the Disabled

Spinal cord injuries are my specialty, but I am comfortable with all types of disabilities including my own (I am going deaf.)  I understand what muscle spasms are and the various body equipment used.  I will help transfer onto the table if needed and help turn over.

  Modalities

Swedish Massage:

A form of therapeutic massage that utilizes a variety of strokes to stimulate all the systems of the body including the muscular, nervous, circulatory, digestive, lymphatic, skeletal, and respiratory systems. This form of bodywork typically uses some form of oil or lotion to apply gliding, kneading, compression, percussion, and friction stokes directly on the skin. By varying the speed of application of techniques this modality can be used to either relax or stimulate the client.

Integrative Massage:

The intention of this modality is to help the client connect with body, mind and spirit. Techniques include very flowing long stokes, three-dimensional work, rocking, and passive movement of limbs. These techniques are incorporated with visualizations and breathwork all intended to bring more awareness to the recipient’s body and experience.
